BBC Strictly Come Dancing announces new star as he says he's 'really excited'

The programme, which airs weeknights, is co-hosted by Janette Manrara and Fleur East and brings viewers all the behind-the-scenes glamour and gossip from the BBC One dance contest.
And it's now been confirmed on Friday (October 4) that they have a new member of the team joining them. As exclusively revealed on Strictly: It Takes Two, Niall Gray will take on the exciting role of roving behind-the-scenes reporter, offering fans a unique and entertaining glimpse into Strictly's backstage moments. Joining studio hosts Janette and Fleur in the It Takes Two family, Niall will head to the training rooms as well as being backstage at Elstree Studios to bring viewers all the gossip from our Strictly couples throughout the series.
