BBC star Rachael Bland's widower has announced he has welcomed twins with his new wife. Steve Bland, who tragically lost his BBC presenting wife Rachael Bland to cancer in 2018, has now announced that that he's become a father of three as he welcomed twins with his second wife, Amy.Taking to his Instagram, he announced to his 24.4k Instagram followers that his wife had given birth to twins as he posted a joint post with Amy showing the two twins laying next to each other.They captioned the post: "On Monday 17th April at 09:18 our beautiful family became complete" along with a blue heart and a pink heart.
They continued: "Welcome to the world, our wonderful Vercell-Bland babies. "Ruby Hope Claire and Luca Jackson Matthew. "There are no words that are able to justify how much we love you. "We have never felt so utterly blessed." Friends and followers quickly took to the comments to send the couple their well wishes, including some well-known names.
Former I'm A Celeb winner Giovanna Fletcher commented: "Wonderful wonderful wonderful news!!! Huge congratulations! Xxx." Gaby Roslin wrote: "Wonderful happy news and HUGE congratulations to you all.They’re so beautiful and what gorgeous names they have too."
