It happened on Oxford Street near where Private Eye's office is based. The Metropolitan Police confirmed there was "no evidence of a firearms discharge at this time" after it was initially believed the taxi had been hit by a bullet. "I always say at this point I’m glad to be here, but this week I really mean it," Ian stated during an episode of Have I Got News For You in October.
