Meanwhile, Patrick Harris, played by Ross Anderson, made a frantic mayday call to the coastguard, John Harris, played by Vincent Regan, attempted to revive his son and DI 'Tosh' McIntosh, portrayed by Alison O'Donnell, and DI Ruth Calder, played by the talented Ashley Jensen, identified a new suspect who had opportunity and motive.
However, during the latest episode, viewers were left distracted by one detail as they noticed that Tosh and Ruth always manage to get phone signal despite being in remote parts of Shetland during their investigations.
