BBC Radio presenter Scott Mills has sent his love to Rylan Clark after he agreed to step in and cover his show, following his mum's horror fall.

Rylan announced that he would not be able to host his BBC Radio 2 show due to his mum being rushed to hospital following an accident on holiday.

His mum Linda is now having surgery abroad following the fall, with radio DJ Scott Mills wishing her a speedy recovery. Taking to Twitter, the 50-year-old penned: "Get well soon Linda," with a red heart emoji. "Love ya @Rylan sending all my love.

I'll be with you tomorrow 3 pm @BBCRadio2," he added. Rylan recently released a statement revealing that his mum had suffered 'quite a bad fall' while the pair had been trying to enjoy some downtime together on holiday.
