Deborah James was rushed to the hospital after suffering from a "spiking 40 degree temperature". Revealing the news on her Instagram Story on Wednesday 20 October morning, the BBC podcast host, who was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer in December 2016, shared a snap of herself hooked up to a drip in a hospital bed. "Not how I want to start a Wednesday!" said the 40 year old, who revealed in June that doctors had discovered a growing tumour amid her bowel cancer battle.
Deborah continued: "Had to go to A&E, was spiking 40 degree temperatures and was so dehydrated from not being able to keep anything in me!" "Have spent the last 8 hours being pumped full of antibiotics and fluids - lots of fluids!
