A BBC reporter was caught up in a 'terrifying' aborted landing attempt in the fierce Storm Isha winds. Holly Hamilton was on a flight from Heathrow to Belfast yesterday (Sunday) as the entire country was battered by the storm.
But the plane was unable to land in Belfast and had to divert to Manchester Airport instead, WalesOnline reports. Holly said it made a 'terrifying landing attempt' before turning back.

now en route to Manchester. Not sure how much better the weather is there but hopefully stand a better chance." The reporter, who is best known for presenting on BBC Breakfast and The Victoria Derbyshire programme, then updated her followers that they had landed safely.
