BBC newsreader Huw Edwards has told that a man urged him to take his face mask off during a train journey. The broadcasting veteran, 59, shared that his cloth face-covering - decorated with a pattern of the Welsh flag - offended a fellow passenger who was riled up by the mask and the dragon design on it.
Opening on what happened during the journey, Carmarthenshire native Huw took to Twitter to claim that the man ordered him to remove his mask, before explaining how he intends to continue sporting a mask on public transport after the rules on face coverings lift on July 19. "Angry man on the tube demands I take off mask," the journalist fumed on the social media platform.
