A retail sector worker with heart failure was asked to leave a shop because he wasn't wearing a face mask despite him having proof he was exempt.
Jason Boulton, 50, of St Asaph, Wales has level 2 heart failure which causes breathlessness and wearing a mask only exacerbates that for him.
Throughout the pandemic Jason has "never" had any issues shopping without a face mask as he applied for an NHS lanyard to show he was exempt from wearing one, the Daily Post reports.
But on Monday he was turned away from a local retailer - who he doesn't want to name- despite explaining his condition. In a bid to get business owners to be more understanding of people with health conditions, he said: "I suffer from heart failure but I am 50 and look okay
