The BBC has unveiled its latest big entertainment bet, an adventure dating format birthed by the creators of Married at First Sight.
Airing next year, Stranded on Honeymoon Island, which has already made its way to a number of territories, will see 12 single people matched into couples and then stranded on a deserted island.
On remote beaches, the fledgling relationships are put to the test as couples live together and fend for themselves with few resources.
Marooned and alone, they must communicate and collaborate to get by. The UK version will be produced by Married at First Sight UK and Love is Blind UK producer CPL Productions.
