Fans of the Hairy Bikers were left in tears as the BBC aired a touching tribute during the final episode of 'The Hairy Bikers Go West'.
The show marked the last time viewers would see the beloved duo, Dave Myers and Si King, together on screen after Dave's sad passing at age 66 in February.
Dave had been undergoing chemotherapy while they filmed their 650-mile journey down the West Coast.The series ended with them in Devon and Dorset, where Dave shared with viewers: "It's been tough at times.
I've had chemotherapy all the time we've been filming, it hasn't been easy but we've got there and it's a wonderful feeling." Si expressed his admiration for his friend, saying: "We've done it, but more importantly he's done it," before getting emotional and adding: "He's my mate but I love him like family, like a brother, and I'm lost for words.
