The BBC has decided to take "no further action" after reviewing the situation with Wynne Evans and Katya Jones following an awkward moment over the weekend.

Strictly Come Dancing's professional dancer Katya spoke out about the controversy involving her celebrity partner Wynne last night, saying she "can't bear" the way he's been "portrayed as someone he is not".This follows an incident during Saturday night's live show where she appeared to move his hand from her waist, reports the Mirror.A BBC insider told the Mirror regarding the incident: "Wynne and Katya have confirmed that their interactions in the Clauditorium were silly jokes they had planned together and have apologised to anyone who may have misinterpreted them.

They addressed them on Wynne's Instagram, where their apology can be found. Katya would like to clarify further that she was not offended by Wynne and was not made to feel uncomfortable in the least – she has also clarified on her Instagram.

The welfare and production teams have checked in on the pair and there are no further actions planned."The duo featured on the BBC spin-off show It Takes Two last night, where Katya discussed the widely circulated social media incident.
