James Corden has given an update on the final episode of Gavin and Stacey as he met with fans as the filming for a final episode got underway this week in Wales.
James and his co-creator Ruth Jones - who play Smithy and Nessa in the much-loved sitcom - confirmed in May that they had re-joined forces for what they have said will be one last episode of the BBC show this Christmas following the last festive cliffhanger in 2019.
Back in May, James shared an image of him and fellow creator Ruth, known for playing Nessa in the show, with a 2024 script titled: "Gavin and Stacey: The finale." He then went on to caption the post: "Some news… It’s official!!!
We have finished writing the last ever episode of Gavin and Stacey. See you on Christmas Day, BBC One. Love Ruth and James."
