EastEnders star Jamie Borthwick had no hesitation about joining Strictly Come Dancing as he revealed why he's not putting a 'ban' himself.
The actor - who is best known for playing Jay Brown in the BBC One soap - has revealed that he jumped at the chance to star in the full run of the hit dance contest, after appearing on the Strictly Christmas special in 2023.
Jamie - who actually won the Christmas special alongside professional dancer Nancy Xu - told MailOnline: "I had a ball doing the 'Strictly' Christmas special last year, so when I was asked to join for this series it was the easiest yes!" I’m hoping to be Salsa-ing around Albert Square in no time and I’ll be asking my Walford Strictly alumni for some words of wisdom.
