A recent episode of Escape to the Country saw empty nesters Jackie and Michael looking to relocate from their current home in St Albans, Hertfordshire to the beautiful scenery of Cornwall.
And while they thought they had found their 'dream home' they sadly left disappointed.The couple's wish list included a spacious, bright three-bedroom property with a garage and potential for a studio.
And above all, they wanted a quiet location. While the couple didn't fall in love with the first house they saw, the next house was another story.
Looking at the stunning detached Georgian home, Jackie said: "It looks lovely. "I'm just slightly surprised because it seems much grander than anywhere I picture myself so that's quite a weird sensation - it feels above my station.
