BBC EastEnders viewers cringe as pregnant 12-year-old Lily Slater makes 'grim' request

However, the 'nice' idea left some EastEnders viewers 'cringing' at the prospect of two children hosting a gender reveal. Taking to Twitter, one person wrote: "Gender reveal party……… THIS IS GRIM #EastEnders".

A second added: "Gender reveal party, they’re just children themselves - so sad #eastenders", while a third chimed in with: "A gender reveal party for a 12-year-old. - I'm still trying to get my head around how wrong this is #EastEnders. "Another joked: "Gender reveal party, they’ll have cakes, jelly and goodie bags and everything. #EastEnders.
