BBC EastEnders fans 'in tears' as iconic couple make surprise return for one episode

In an attempt to impress her boyfriend Martin Fowler (James Bye), Ruby Allen (Louisa Lytton) unearthed an old video tape of his parents Pauline and Arthur Fowler participating in a game show.
As the residents of the Square gathered in The Queen Vic on Tuesday, they watched the memorable episode of Cat and Mouse which featured Arthur as a contestant and Pauline in the audience.
Martin proudly displayed his late parents to his family while Sharon Watts (Letitia Dean) and Kathy Beale (Gillian Taylforth) reminisced about watching the gameshow when it first aired on television.
