BBC East Midlands Today fans have been left angry after it was pulled from the schedule - and replaced with Birmingham news.
An announcement was made shortly before the late bulletin was due to air. "Unfortunately, we are unable to broadcast our late bulletin from Nottingham tonight, so we will be sharing output from Birmingham across the Midlands," a tweet said.
At around 10. 30pm, when the regional segment aired, the host addressed the shake up. Presenter Mary Rhodes simply said: "Welcome to viewers in the West and East Midlands. The tweet read: "On Thursday and Friday we will be sharing breakfast bulletins from Birmingham across the Midlands. This is a temporary measure and our early bulletins should be back on air from the East Midlands next week.
