Countryfile star Anita Rani has split from her husband Bhupi Rehal after 14 years. The couple have reportedly "drifted apart" over recent months due to their hectic work schedules, although they are said to remain on good terms.It comes as the 45-year-old television star is juggling a series of jobs on-screen and on the airwaves.

She is currently filming a new series with Channel 4, as well as fronting BBC’s Countryfile and presenting BBC Radio Four’s Women’s Hour.Anita also regularly covers BBC Radio 2 shows and released memoir The Right Sort of Girl in 2021.

Her fiction novel Baby Does a Runner is also said to be in talks to be adapted for the small screen with film production companies.Anita and Bhupi tied the knot back in 2009 in Bradford, West Yorks.

Bhupi has his own tech company and the couple don't have any children.Confirming the split, a source told the Mirror: “It’s really sad but they’ve decided to separate.
