The Liverpool funny man, 68, has literally done it all, from Coronation Street, Casualty, The Bill, and Holby City, to Family Fortunes and Extras.
His career really kicked off in 1974 when he won the ITV talent show New Faces, going on to appear on other shows. But he was made even more famous during a stint on Celebrity Big Brother, only the second series of the show.
