The presenting duo were discussing how attendees of a Bridgerton-inspired event in America felt let down, with the affair failing to meet their high expectations.
Charlie introduced the topic, saying: "Some US fans of the Netflix show Bridgerton have said they were scammed out of hundreds of dollars after they paid to attend a Bridgerton-themed ball in Detroit." Nina, breaking into laughter, remarked: "Well it looks wildly disappointing, it looks very opulent. They posted on social media about soggy noodles." Further highlighting the attendees' dissatisfaction, photos of partially consumed meals were shown as she added: "Look at those chicken, ooh plastic forks, that's not very Bridgerton." She relayed a statement from the event's organiser to Seven News Detroit, which acknowledged that the experience didn't meet everyone's expectations and assured that the company is actively working to resolve the issues raised.
