Charlie first appeared on BBC Breakfast as a stand-in presenter in 2006 and went on to secure a permanent spot hosting from Friday to Sunday starting in 2007.
Prior to Jon Kay officially taking over from Dan Walker in 2022, Charlie frequently covered the Monday to Wednesday slot. Following the programme's move to its Salford studios, Charlie and Naga established themselves as the consistent presenting duo from Thursday to Saturday each week.
