The segment then switched to BBC's technology correspondent Lily Jamali in San Francisco, who shared her experience with the app post-ban, saying: "Well when I open up the app, I get this notification.
It says, 'Sorry, TikTok isn't available right now'. So, no cute cat videos or TikTok challenges. Just this notification." Jamali also provided some context about the ban, explaining: "Last year, Congress enacted a law that was passed on national security grounds.
