Bazaar rescue helps ensure Lanarkshire not-for-profit organisations can help Santa with toy appeal

Two not-for-profit community groups in Wishaw set up to help hard-pressed families will be raising funds for their festive toy appeal by selling their wares at a church’s Christmas Bazaar.By selling new, pre-loved, and nearly new clothing at discount prices from a container in the town, Charity@Home raise money to buy food vouchers for families.

And Resourceful Community Volunteers sell items donated to them with the profit again going to help families to make ends meet.Charity@Home was started up two years ago by mum-of-four Angie Cheney with the help of family and friends.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
