Viewers were blown away by Baz Ashmawy’s candid discussion about his childhood on The Tommy Tiernan Show. He was first up on Saturday night’s show where he spoke about his father leaving his family when he was eight-years-old.
The telly presenter told Tommy what it was like growing up without his father, Mohammed Ussri Ismaill and he explained how that affected his childhood as well as the life of his mother, Nancy. ‘It’s like being in a fight and one of your mates runs off you’re kind of left there looking over your shoulder and going: “Am I doing this alone, is that how this is?”‘ he explained in the honest conversation.
