Bayern Munich have reportedly upped Thiago Alcantara's price tag by €10million. Liverpool have been strongly linked with a move for Thiago, but Bayern Munich are keen to get a fair price for the midfielder if he is allowed to be sold at all.
The Reds were initially quoted a fee of around €30m (£27m) for the Spain international, despite wanting to pay closer to €20m (£18m).
But Bayern Munich coming down on their price seems incredible unlikely now, as Sky Germany is reporting that the Bundesliga club have actually gone the other way.
Bayern have allegedly slapped a new price tag of €40m (£36m) on the midfielder's head, meaning he will now cost the Reds €10m (£9m) more than the price they were already unhappy about having to pay.
