Former top ref Steve Conroy branded Barry Robson “infantile” and “very childish” over his post match claim that Rangers’ last-minute penalty award via VAR “didn’t look good for Scottish football”.
Conroy accused Robson of adding “fuel to the flames” of a fixture that already has a fierce rivalry and history of bad blood.
And the ex whistler insists Robson should be rebuking Stefan Gartenmann instead after the defender gave away the spot-kick, from which James Tavernier levelled, for pulling Connor Goldson’s shirt.
Conroy, speaking to altindex.com, said: “I thought his comments were infantile, very childish, and added more fuel to the flames – something you don’t need for this fixture.
