Barry Ferguson reveals Celtic ban fight as Alloa boss unwilling to take Mouhamed Niang appeal lying down

Defiant Barry Ferguson has confirmed Alloa will look to appeal any retrospective ban dished out to Mouhamed Niang for his challenge on Yosuke Ideguchi.

The on-loan Partick Thistle man caught the Celtic midfielder with a strong challenge in the Scottish Cup tie on Saturday night that initially merited only a booking from whistler Don Robertson.
