Rangers legend Barry Ferguson believes new signings need the know-how to make an instant impact in Philippe Clement's major rebuild and wants multiple options battling it out in attack.
The Record Sport columnist – who expanded on his emotive conversation with Clement before the friendly defeat to Birmingham City last week – is under no doubt nous is a necessity for the Belgian to make his mammoth Ibrox project a success story, but he sees real drive in the man tasked with reshaping Rangers.
Ferguson mulled over the merits of both Bojan Miovski and Lawrence Shankland – with Record Sport revealing the latter remains high on the Ibrox wanted list.
