Barrhead woman embezzles over £10,000 from Hillington firm

A Barrhead woman has admitted embezzling over £10,000 from her employer. Joanne Packer stole £10,500 from Fuglesangs LTD — a pump supplier company based in Hillington’s industrial estate.

The 49-year-old embezzled the cash between November 30, 2016 and January 16, 2019. Defence agent Paul Lynch told Paisley Sheriff Court Packer’s plea was agreed in advance of her trial calling on Thursday morning.
