Barclays has announced the closures of 14 of its bank branches across the UK - including one in Scotland.The Barclays branch Cowgate, Kirkintilloch will close its doors on June 9, 2023.
The recent announcement comes after 41 branches were already expected to close this year, including five that have already shut.As reported by Mirror Money, that brings the total number of Barclays closures in 2023 to 55.
However, the bank says its customers can still access some in-person services.Cash and cheque deposits, checking your balance and withdrawing cash will all still be available in Post Office branches.
And Barclays also already has a mobile educational and support van service and 200 pop-up sites planned this year with hopes to increase this number by another 70.
