Barcelona forward Antoine Griezmann hopes to score a goal worth more than £4 million in the sport of horse racing. The World Cup winner is enjoying success as an owner of thoroughbreds – and has now made an entry for Europe's richest race.
Natsukashi, a £51,000 purchase for the France superstar, is one of 101 horses entered in the Qatar Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe on October 3.
The prestigious contest has a prize pot of €5 million – around £4.3 million to UK racing fans. Griezmann, who earns around £345,000 a week while starring at the Nou Camp alongside the likes of Lionel Messi, inherited his love for racing from his father.
