The film The Post called “lousy” beat out “Oppenheimer,” which debuted on the same day, for the second week in a row. The Christopher Nolan biopic landed in second place with $13.4 million in sales.
It’s already made its mark as the biggest July opener in IMAX’s history, according to Yahoo Finance. “Haunted Mansion,” which opened on Friday, came in third, earning $9.9 million.
The Post called the flick, which stars notable names like Jamie Lee Curtis, Owen Wilson, Danny DeVito and Rosario Dawson, part of a “haunted franchise.”The supernatural horror film “Talk to Me,” which was also released on Friday, came in fourth with a roughly $4.2 million take.
