Greta Gerwig's box office record-breaking film features a handful of discontinued Mattel dolls, such as Growing Up Skipper, who is played by Hannah Khalique-Brown.
As demonstrated in the film, Growing Up Skipper is unique because her breasts grow if you lift her arm.The character only appears long enough in the film to explain her interesting function to the humans and Stereotypical Barbie, played by Margot Robbie.
In a 1975 TV advertisement for the doll, Mattel boasted that the doll is "two in one." It explained: "Meet the Growing Up Skipper.
