Great British Bake Off star Prue Leith has opened up about the horrendous experience she had after taking LSD. The wholesome looking 80-year-old TV star has been open about her wild past – in interviews and in her eye opening 2017 autobiography, Relish: My Life On A Plate.

Now in a new interview, the star has gone in to startling detail about the bad experience she had after taking acid with her first husband, writer Rayne Kruger.

Prue paints her bad trip experience during a chat with politician Ruth Davidson that is due to air on LBC tonight. The star explains that her acid trip was a one off as she advanced from smoking marijuana.
