Bake Off fans already predicting winner who they would 'die for'
ok.co.ukThe Great British Bake Off has finally made its return to TV screens, with 12 new amateur bakers ready to battle it out to be crowned the winner.
And although only one episode has aired so far, viewers have already predicted that intelligence analyst Saku may be taking home the crown.
Born in Sri Lanka, Saku only began baking when she moved to the UK with her husband in 2003, and has already been taking the Bake Off tent by storm, with viewers claiming that would "die for" her.
As the first episode aired, fans took to X, formerly Twitter, to share their thoughts, with one sharing a photo of Saku, which they captioned: "we've already found our winner [heart emoji] #GBBO." "I want it on record that I would die for Saku. #gbbo #BakeOff" added another, to which a another fan replied: "Agreed she’s my favourite already #GBBO #bakeoff." While a fourth penned: "Saku to win, i love her so much already [laughing emoji] #GBBO." With the show being filmed months ahead of airing, the judges have already decided on a winner, although viewers won't find out for a while yet.
