Rebel Wilson has promised she’s going to make the Baftas ‘cheeky and filthy’ when she steps up as host of this year’s awards.
The Pitch Perfect star, 42, will take on hosting duties at the awards on Sunday, following on from past hosts including Stephen Fry, Graham Norton and Dame Joanna Lumley.
She told PA that she is feeling the pressure of hosting the iconic event, explaining: ‘I’m very scared of doing it, because it’s very nerve-wracking and I get very nervous for live performances. ‘For movies I don’t get nervous but the live stuff, it’s kind of one and done.
It’s a big crowd of everyone who could potentially employ you, so if you fail, that could be really bad…’Rebel hopes that people realise that she has ‘good intentions’ when she takes the stage, and just wants the show to be ‘entertaining’.
