Ron Leshem and Hagar Ben-Asher’s Bad Boy won seven gongs at the Israeli Television Academy Awards last night, while Shira Haas took home Best Supporting Actress.
The Israeli version of the Emmys rewarded Bad Boy, which is made by Sipur and was North Road‘s first international co-pro, as it landed big wins including Best Drama, Best Directing and Best Writing.
Both Euphoria creator Leshem and Ben-Asher took home prizes. During a ceremony in Israel, Unorthodox star Haas won Best Supporting Actress for Night Therapy, which won three acting gongs as Yousef Sweid and Yaakov Zada Daniel also secured awards for the show about an Arab-Israeli psychologist who struggles to raise his two children after his Jewish-Israeli wife commits suicide.
Best Actress in a Drama Series went to Manayek’s Liraz Chamami. Other winners on the night included fan favorites like Couples Therapy and Come Dine With Me.
