Ayrshire's biggest breakfast is preparing to get its own wheels this weekend. The news that hungry punters have been waiting for has finally landed, with Ayr's Stage Door Cafe confirming their famous morning treat is now available for delivery.

The venue's belly-busting plates are renowned throughout the Shire with breakfast a speciality at the eaterie inside the Gaiety Theatre.Now bosses have bowed to popular demand by teaming up with new food delivery app Ayr Eats to bring their grub to tables across town.A trial run this weekend will see the slap up breakfasts delivered to Ayr only.

Stage Door General Manager, Jon Neil, told Ayrshire Live: "It's something that customers have been asking us to do for a long time. "We pride ourselves on our quality of food and our breakfasts have been famed since we opened our doors here."Ayr Eats has been great since starting up and we're happy to team up with them for this trial."If the weekend slots prove popular, it's something we'll look to expand in future."Delivery time slots will be: 10.30am - 11am; 11am -11.30am; 11.30am - 12pm and 12pm - 12.30pm and will be available to book from tomorrow night (Friday) on the Ayr Eats app.Don't miss the latest Ayrshire headlines –sign up to our free daily newsletter here
