Ayrshire based wedding magician wins at the Wedding Industry Awards

A Kilmarnock entertainer has been crowned Scottish Wedding Magician of the Year.Steven Blair won the title at the Wedding Industry Awards 2025 (TWIA).Established in 2011, TWIA is the only Regional and National client-voted, expert-judged Awards in the UK wedding industry.Based on average voter scores, feedback from customers from the past 12 months and the opinion of more than 150 expert judges, the 2025 Awards saw 27,300 votes cast for 1,500 entrants.

Of these, 1,100 independent companies became Regional Finalists.Regional winners, including Steven Blair, will now go through to the National Final in London on January 22, 2025.

Steven said: "I didn’t expect to win the award. "The awards are judged on client feedback and I know I leave couples delighted with my services so when my name was called it was a shock but also I was delighted because it shows I’ve been exceeding the couples expectations. "Steven attended the ceremony at Trades Halls in Glasgow with his cousin Shannon earlier last month.

He said: "The award ceremony was great fun. Me and my cousin, my biggest fan, went along and was great to be in a room of like minded suppliers and be recognised by the industry experts.
