Karen Gillan is just the latest Scots actor to be added to the James Bond odds. The 34-year-old has joined the likes of Sam Heughan, Richard Madden, Ewan McGregor and Gerard Butler as potential 007 candidates.
The Inverness-born actress is best known for her roles as Amy Pond in BBC's Doctor Who, as well as Nebula in Marvel's blockbuster film franchise.
Karen's odds are currently 50-1 on bookies William Hill.The star has previously spoken about how she'd like to join the Bond film universe, but not as the superspy.
Speaking to Interview magazine about the Marvel sci-fi, she said: "I play Nebula, the female villain. She's really sadistic. "One time, I had a man in a headlock, and then I just decided that Nebula would lick his face.
