Auf Wiedersehen, Pet actress Maya Woolfe has died aged 72. The official social media channels for the show made the announcement on Friday afternoon (February 14), the Mirror reported.

The statement read: "With sadness we announce the passing of Maya Woolfe who played Uli in Auf Wiedersehen, Pet Series 1, Episode 11, 'The Lovers'." "Maya's many TV appearances included 'The Professionals', 'Bergerac', and 'Doctor Who'.

We send our deepest sympathy to family and friends at this difficult time." Maya was best known for her appearance in the memorable series one episode 'The Lovers', which aired back in January 1984.
