Attacks on lone women near to where a 33-year-old went missing in London had been previously reported to police, it has been claimed.
Women living in the area of the capital where Sarah Everard disappeared from are now being warned by police to "not go out alone".
The marketing manager vanished after leaving a friend's house in Clapham, South London, on March 3. She had been due to arrive home in Brixton roughly 50 minutes later after making the journey on foot but has not been seen since.
Police went on to launch a missing persons probe and have been scouring the local area, including in ponds and bins. And locals have revealed that officers have told them to be vigilant following the mystery disappearance.
