Asylum Ent. Group Hires LaNeé Griffin to Help Develop Projects Under Tyler Perry Studios Joint Venture
variety.comMichael Schneider Variety Editor at Large LaNeé Griffin has been named senior VP of development and programming at Asylum Entertainment Group, where she will co-run development and production for the company’s joint venture with Tyler Perry Studios.
In this new role, Griffin will work closely with Tyler Perry Studios unscripted VP Antoinetta Stallings. Tyler Perry Studios and Asylum Entertainment Group announced their joint venture to create and produce unscripted content back in May.
Griffin most recently launched and ran Parker Paige Media, where she developed projects including a first-look deal with Snapchat.
Her previous credits include stints at VH1 and NBC Universal, where she worked at Universal Alternative Studio and at NBC Entertainment.
