The 52-year-old actress had been traveling the continent and when in the Congo she had tripped over a fallen tree during an excursion in the country, which she didn’t see because of a faulty head lamp. Ashley opened up about the accident and the differences in privilege in an interview with New York Times‘ Nicholas Kristof over Instagram.
