Asda has confirmed that it will slash the price of nearly 4,000 products at over 1,2000 stores from today (January 30). The supermarket giant's new cost-cutting measures will see some products available at 50% their previous price.
Moreover, some products will be available at 5% lower than prices offered by competing promotional prices, such as Tesco's Clubcard.
Some of the products affected include Birds Eye's BBQ Chicken Grills 520g which are seeing a major cut from £5.65 to £2.82 alongside Philadelphia Light cream cheese which is dropping from £3.25 to £1.78.
Other common households items are also seeing a cut, such as Andrew Toilet Tissue Quilters nine pack going from £6.50 to £4.75.
