Asda has opened up its Christmas Savings club for shoppers looking to get on top of the most expensive month of the year. The grocer's festive loyalty club is free to join - and savers could earn up to £15 in rewards in time for December.

Essentially a rewards club, the Christmas Savings card can help you build up a pot of money for your big festive shop. It's now open, meaning you can start putting money away a few pounds at a time.

This cash can then be spent on anything from gifts to decorations, food, entertainment and festive clothing in December. To sign up, you'll have to pick up a physical card in store - which you can then register online (this is optional but it protects your money if you lose the card).
