A delivery driver who works for ASDA has gone viral after his response to finding a 90-year-old customer sat alone in the dark was shared online.
He's been praised by hundreds of shoppers for his kindhearted response, and called a 'hero'. When home shopping driver Michael from our Hartlepool store turned up to deliver groceries to a 90-year-old customer he discovered that she was sat in the dark as her lightbulbs had just died.
The lady, who struggles with her mobility, said she couldn't physically change the bulbs in her flat herself and was waiting for her carer to come and do it for her so kind-hearted Michael stepped in and changed them.
Michael, who's 23 and has worked at the store for a year, said: "I couldn't leave her in the dark so I just asked her where her spare bulbs were and quickly changed them all.
