Rising rap star Chynna Rogers has died aged 25. Her family confirmed through her management the news that the A$AP Mob rapper has passed away.
In a statement, they wrote: “Chynna was deeply loved and will be sorely missed." Her cause of death is currently unknown. Chynna began her career as a model, signing to Ford Models at the age of 14.
She later went on to work with the late record producer A$AP Yams, born Steven Rodriguez. It was when she became involved with the A$AP Mob, that Chynna's career as a rapper began to take off.
When speaking to Pitchfork in 2018, Chynna opened up about how she overcome drug addiction. There was tragedy for the young rapper though as a year after she finished rehab, her mother died.
