Artios Awards: ‘Wicked’, ‘Complete Unknown’ & ‘Emilia Pérez’ Among Casting Society Winners

Wicked, A Complete Unknown, Emilia Pérez and Conclave — Best Picture Oscar nominees all — were among the film winners at the 40th anniversary Artios Awards, which the Casting Society handed out tonight over three ceremonies in Los Angeles, New York and London.

The Wild Robot — hot off dominating the Annie Awards — My Old Ass, The Idea of You and Janet Planet are the other movies honored for excellence in casting.

Shows claiming top TV prizes were Emmy favorites Shōgun, Hacks, Baby Reindeer, RuPaul’s Drag Race along with Slow Horses, Palm Royale, Queer Eye, Avatar: The Last Airbender and Blue Eye Samurai.

Casting Society also honors excellence in casting across commercials and theater, with Stereophonic and The Outsiders taking the top prizes for the latter.
